A photographic journal by Camille Levert at Obellery

  • Hong Kong Hong Kong (map)

We’re proud to present our very first exhibition featuring Camille Levert, a French multimedia artist. Her artistic approach integrates photography, collage and embroidery, resulting in photographic sculptures containing remnants of past Hong Kong culture and identity.

The criteria of a great artisan combines the keen ability of a visionary, and mastery of craft to bring phantasms into reality. Every creation is an embodiment of the maker’s wild imagination, a window to peer into the artist’s personal truth. Since our establishment in 2014, Obellery has been a keen supporter of local and international jewellery arts, in hopes to promote appreciation for traditional metal-craft amidst the quick-paced urban life.

2021 marks a new milestone for Obellery as we expanded our gallery floor to accommodate exhibitions not limited to jewellery, but all things precious, fulfilling our purpose when we settled upon the name Obellery, a portmanteau of object and jewellery.
