The Labyrinth of Solitude at Seefood Room with Shout Gallery

Sometimes exhibitions feel like movies or theater plays, with the gallery turning into the stage, the artists—to actors and the curators being a mixture of screenwriters and directors. But—there’s always a but, right?—there’s also you, the viewer. Your reactions, understanding, projections and reflections are always partially unpredictable. So while it is important to understand the artists’ and curator intentions—you, dear viewer, can follow the thread of Ariadne in your own way and receive a very special storyline. Will it be a story of emotional solitude, rejection of the norms, selfless heroism or a family betrayal (I mean, Ariadne after all was a sister to Minotaur)? Maybe none of the above but it will be your own.
