Boundless Union: Bae Bien-U and Kwon Dae-Sup at Axel Vervoordt
A very elegant monochromatic exhibition featuring gelatin silver prints by Bae Bien-U and moon jars by Kwon Dae-Sup.
Pine trees look like ink strokes on traditional paintings, inviting the viewer to step into the quiet meditative space of a pine tree forest. The seemingly simple form of the moon jar is the result of a meticulous and time consuming process, impossible without embracing the failure and unpredictability. Together they create a balanced and tranquil space.
