I write about every exhibition I went to, and I go to almost every exhibition there is in Hong Kong. I shoot and edit my own photos for this blog.

I enjoy visiting artists and seeing their studios. I show them the way I see them, hopefully revealing something interesting.

Sep 20 Sophie Cheung: Erasing Time: Backwards and Forwards at Ora Ora

Exhibition

Definitely not my first time writing about Sophie. The brilliant idea of creating abstract artworks out of erasers with ink stains from newspapers is developed further with the inclusion of drawings on top of those erasers. Now certain images are incorporated into the body of works, alluding to incapsulated memories but also being a metaphor of re-writing traumatic past, owning and managing it.
