Sabine Weiss: A Tribute at Boogie Woogie Photography
One of the leading figures in French Humanist photography, Sabine Weiss had an eye for the small scenes but more importantly she had a heart, so the captured moments are filled with light and joy, hope and care. She worked with a lot of commercial magazines (like Vogue), portrayed numerous important art and culture figures and celebrities of the time, and traveled around the world as a documentary photographer. Marking the centennial of Sabine Weiss’s birth, the exhibition is a personal tribute and expression of gratitude.
