Niki de Saint Phalle: Garden of Joy at Opera Gallery
Painter, sculptor, designer, filmmaker, author and a super-woman, Niki de Saint Phalle was self-taught, radical, and laser-focused on art creation. Her joyous Nanas and naive colourful sculptures are always recognizable yet experimental. She is considered to be one of the most significant female and feminist artists of the 20th century — the century that wasn’t particularly kind to female artists — but is not that widely known in America or Asia. Perfect opportunity to change that.
