I enjoy visiting artists and seeing their studios. I show them the way I see them, hopefully revealing something interesting.

Oct 24 Exhibition by Giraffe Leung Lok Hei at Parallel Space

Last weekend to see selection of works by the artist, including my favorite documentary photo series “Paper Over the Cracks” and a map of Hong Kong created from the world map. The most striking work is the screen on the second floor, where you’ll see your own face captured by the camera at the gallery entrance. (Un)fortunately, I’ve spent too much time downstairs, so by the time I was upstairs there were other visitors’ faces on the screen, but the reminder of us constantly being watched is striking and powerful.
