Oct 11 Duo exhibition ‟Liquefied Sunshine | Force Majeure” at Blindspot Gallery

Exhibition

Visual reflection by Luke Ching Chin Wai and South Ho Siu Nam on similarities and visual rhymes between natural and political storms happening in the region. Photos and remains of trees violently destroyed by last year’s Typhoon Mangkhut, defaced postcards of Hong Kong and Taiwan landmarks, storm shields for windows protection, and videos from protests alongside with the footages made during the typhoons — the symbolism is quite clear and resonating.
