Ko Sin Tung: An Acute Manner at Edouard Malingue Gallery

Ko Sin Tung: An Acute Manner at Edouard Malingue Gallery

Very unsettling and uncomfortable place:
Spiky menace of moving barbed wire curtain and fear of tripping over low barriers — threatening, separating, stalling.
The unnatural sterile place in which dissected bottles are “healed” with iodine solution.
But still a place is providing viewers with plenty of safe space to observe the whole site specific installation from a distance, which somehow gives hope. I don’t know if that feeling was intentional or just happened in order to provide visitors safety, but I am fine with seeing it this way.

Exhibition period: 39.11 — 15.01.22
Gallery address: Unit B2, 12/F, Blue Box Factory Building, Aberdeen
