Exhibition “Face” by Han Youngwook at Whitestone Gallery

I remember how mesmerized I was by the magical Luminosity of these eye catching and evocative portraits when I first saw them at Art Central 2017. If you’ve never seen them in person — I definitely recommend visit the exhibition; the technique is impressive. If you already have seen these works maybe you can agree that works well to capture roughly textured faces of older people doesn’t necessarily suits the needs of portraying kids.
