K-NARF & SHOKO: Hatarakimono Project Satellite (Part 2) at WKM Gallery

K-NARF & SHOKO: Hatarakimono Project Satellite (Part 2) at WKM Gallery

Has nothing to do with kimono! Due to people’s confusion, I have to start with that sentence. Hatarakimono is a Japanese word for a hard worker, who enjoys doing their job, no matter what it is. The project started in 2016, when the creative duo started taking portraits of such workers right on the streets in a very special way. Photographs are then processed as tape-o-graphs, and showcased in various sizes and ways of presentation (all details are perfectly and neatly explained in the exhibition).
Now extending their project to the whole world, Frank and Shoko added a Hong Kong chapter to their visual archive.

Exhibition period: 24.05–1.06
Gallery address: 20/F, Coda Designer Centre, 62 Wong Chuk Hang Road
