Henry Moore Tapestries at Hauser&Wirth
When I first heard about Henry Moore’s tapestries I:
1. was very surprised;
2. immediately imagined a peaceful pastoral scene of the artist himself sitting next to a weaving loom, humming nonchalantly some homely tune.
I know, I know that he wasn’t doing these tapestries himself, of course it was made by famous West Dean Tapestry Studio. But I love the picture drawn by my imagination and have no plans to abandon it.
