Every time I see an exhibition by Chan Kwan-lok, I think it’s his best work ever. And every time, l am astonished by the new heights of his mastery (you’ve probably guessed by now that he’s one of my favorite artists).
The new series focuses on personal observations and contemplations of nature and life cycles, capturing their ever-changing impermanence and flow.
Filled with precise details and whimsical scenes, these paintings must be seen in person, as no photograph can do them justice.
