It may look like somebody was having a lot of fun with filters, but these gridded mosaic portraits are meticulously made paintings and prints. Since the artist has prosopagnosia (“face blindness”) his interest in faces is quite understandable: once a is face flattened down to an image it’s possible for him to remember it.
