Brian Robertson: Imaginary Friends at Over the Influence

Monochrome anthropomorphic portraits of succulents and cacti could be seen as the reflection of seeing familiar features in random objects and forgetting friends’ faces, longing for contact and being uncomfortable with it, or a curious case of apophenia.
Recent experience of social isolation had serious impact and provided impressive amount of thoughts and emotions for artists so we are seeing a lot of interpretations and results of those processes.
