Mingei, usually translated as the Japanese Folk Craft or Folk Art Movement was developed from the late 1920s by philosopher and critic Soetsu Yanagi with the group of craftsmen. The purpose was to see and preserve the beauty of functional, simple traditional craft and design. A unique show, especially for Hong Kong, so don’t miss last chance to see it.
