Aug 10 Shuyi Cao and Leelee Chan: Strange Strangers at Para Site

Organic forms and urban debris that spread and sprawl through the space of a gallery look marvelously well together and definitely not that strange for me—maybe because I found it more strange how Leelee’s works always tempt me to get as close to them as possible. But if we are talking a bit more seriously, than of course it’s a metaphorical expression of queerness, alienation, materiality paradoxes, and mythological storytelling (among many other things).
