Sep 21 Alexander Guy: What Are You Looking At at Woaw Central

Exhibition

The title should not be interpreted in the following way “What are you looking at? It’s just me eating some sugary snack in the dark corner because I was looking at the paintings for too long” (also I can’t confirm or deny that I had any sugary snacks today).
Rather the title and the exhibition theme reflect on the post-covid change of accessibility of goods and consumer habits, the slightly paranoid shift in seeing everyday objects as potential threats, and increased longing for safe space.
