Exhibition “Polish Villages” by Frank Stella at Lévy Gorvy
Constructed from canvas, felt, and plywood, these colourful angular assemblages are in a way deconstructed images of Polish wooden synagogues, many of which were destroyed by Nazi during the Second World War. Details like slanted roofs, angular beams and geometrical shapes are still quite recognizable.
Exhibition period: 24.05— 27.07.19
Gallery address: G/F, 2 Ice House Street, Central.
